Join a team that's changing financial services
Zocks is the #1 AI assistant for financial advisors. We help advisors automate their operational work and grow their business. 5,000+ firms use Zocks to turn client conversations into completed work.
We're a venture-backed team, building something that changes how financial advisors serve their clients every day. Every role here is an opportunity to shape the product, the company, and the way an entire industry works. We hire sharp, curious, and kind people who want to do meaningful work and build something from the ground up, together.
About the RoleIf a messy supply closet physically bothers you, and you've never met a wobbly conference room chair you didn't immediately want to fix - keep reading.
We're looking for an Office Manager to run our Denver office and be the person who makes it hum. You'll notice the wifi's a bit spotty before it crashes. You'll know which vendor is starting to slip before anyone complains. You'll also lend a hand to our NY office remotely, so you'll be juggling more than one location and enjoy that kind of variety.
Done well, this job is the reason people actually want to come into the office - that's the fun part.
This is not a "wait to be told what to do" role. We need someone hungry, high-energy, and genuinely excited by the challenge of keeping a growing company running smoothly - this position reports into People Ops and is a real on-ramp into broader People Ops work for the right person.
What You'll Do- Keep the Denver office running like clockwork - supplies, vendors, mail, deliveries, kitchen stock - so the workday never gets derailed by something you could've caught first
- Make every visitor and client feel like they walked into a well-run operation, from sign-in through walking into a conference room that's already set up and ready to go
- Be the first call when tech misbehaves - wifi drops, AV glitches, a printer with a mind of its own - and either fix it on the spot or chase the vendor until it's actually resolved
- Be the friendly, responsive point of contact for our NY office - coordinating with local vendors, keeping supplies stocked, and making remote support feel just as fast as being down the hall
- Make new hires' first day feel like a big deal - scheduling, shipping laptops, decorating their desk - so day one in partnership with People Ops actually sticks in their memory
- Coordinate remote interviews and interview day logistics - scheduling candidates and being the first friendly face they see when they walk in
- Own vendor relationships and contracts (cleaning, parking, catering, maintenance, security) - negotiate well, track the budget closely, and speak up the moment a number looks off
- Spot what's about to go wrong before it does - the badge reader that's about to die, the vendor who's about to flake - and get ahead of it
- Dream up and get creative with employee perks and everyday experience that make this a place people genuinely want to be
- Denver is a company hub, so you may plan or support executive and leadership-level events and visits when they're in town
- Lean into the natural overlap between events and People Ops - swag, internal events, and elevated experiences that build culture, connection, and morale
- Raise your hand for ad hoc People Ops projects as you grow into the role
- 2+ years in office management, workplace operations, or a related coordination-heavy role, ideally at a startup or fast-paced environment
- A true "figure it out" mentality - ownership and follow-through with minimal oversight, and you don't let something sit because it's not technically your job
- Comfortable when priorities shift mid-morning and the…
