About the Role

We are seeking mission-minded, highly relational, and responsible coordinators who enjoy meeting new people, planning social activities, and helping people experience God’s unconditional love.

Coordinators have the opportunity to participate in “business as a ministry” by combining excellence in business with loving their neighbors well.

Important Details
  • Part-time: 16 hours per month
  • Location: Serving 1 apartment community near Benedict Fountain Park in Denver, CO
  • Schedule: Business hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Offsite position: The coordinator does not need to live onsite.
  • Pay: $20 per hour
  • Coordinators will drive to the community as needed to perform their duties.

    Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plan and host monthly events and activities for residents, with the goal of caring for and connecting residents with one another, as well as with local services and businesses.
  • Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with the help of residents and a network of community support.
  • Enhance the community’s online reputation by inviting residents to share their experiences.
  • Create marketing materials, including monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media posts.
  • Manage the event budget process.
  • Prepare monthly summaries and reports.
  • Meet with staff and the Program Director for planning, equipping, and development.
  • Engage volunteers, vendors, and other community partners to maximize impact.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
    .
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Basic fluency in English to create marketing materials and required reports for the property management company.
  • Current driver’s license and liability insurance.
  • Reliable transportation for duties such as shopping for events and connecting with vendors.
  • Ability to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to commit weekly hours, mainly during evenings and weekends when most residents are home.
  • Ability to make the minimum-term commitment to serving in the apartment community.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous event planning experience.
  • Experience working within a budget.
  • Relevant social media experience.
  • A network of potential volunteers, vendors, or community partners.
