The Community Engagement Manager is a member of STACK's Public Affairs team responsible for supporting community engagement across STACK's U.S. data center development portfolio. Serving as a public-facing representative of the company, this role builds relationships with community stakeholders, manages engagement activities for assigned projects and markets, and helps ensure local questions and concerns are understood and addressed throughout the development process.

The Manager works closely with Site Strategy, Development, Construction, Legal, Communications, and other cross-functional partners to align community engagement with project objectives and established team responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage community engagement activities for assigned projects and markets, including open houses, town halls, public meetings, stakeholder briefings, informational sessions, and other community engagement events.

Represent STACK as a visible, professional point of contact for community members, civic and neighborhood organizations, local officials, and other stakeholders, including on projects facing public scrutiny or opposition, while maintaining composure and a constructive tone.

Build and sustain positive working relationships with community stakeholders, civic organizations, local officials, and other key stakeholders in coordination with Public Affairs leadership and relevant project teams.

Develop market- and project-specific community engagement plans in partnership with Public Affairs leadership and cross-functional teams, and manage the logistics, materials, and execution required for key engagement milestones.

Research community concerns, stakeholder priorities, local issues, and public sentiment to anticipate questions, identify emerging issues, and inform project-specific engagement strategies and messaging.

Gather, synthesize, and communicate community feedback, emerging concerns, and stakeholder priorities to internal project teams, helping inform engagement strategy and project decision-making.

Prepare presentations, talking points, FAQs, briefing materials, and other communications that translate complex or technical project information into clear, accessible content for community and stakeholder audiences.

Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions, community feedback, commitments, follow-up items, and outstanding concerns, coordinating with internal owners to support timely follow-through and consistent reporting.

Identify emerging community issues and reputational risks and escalate material concerns to Public Affairs leadership and relevant project teams.

Partner with Development, Site Strategy, Legal, Communications, Construction, and Public Affairs colleagues to maintain trackers, reporting tools, and internal updates related to community engagement and project status.
