A highly respected commercial contractor in the Chicago market is seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in commercial construction.
The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Maintain schedules, manage daily logs, and drive jobsite productivity.
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure high-quality workmanship throughout all phases.
- Conduct field meetings, communicate updates, and resolve conflicts promptly.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and coordinate with project management.
- Support project delivery from mobilization through closeout.
- Minimum 5+ years as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Proven experience managing diverse commercial projects $10M+
- Strong knowledge of ICRA, life safety, and hospital facility protocols.
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage fast-paced schedules and complex site logistics.
