Overview

POSITION: Residential Construction Project Manager
REPORTS TO: President

Duet Build is a 30-year legacy general contractor with a devotion to craft and an eagle eye for evolution. We build high-quality, custom homes with the highest level of integrity and industry-busting levels of communication throughout the Denver Metro area.

Job Overview

Responsible for the oversight of custom residential builds and renovations. Collaborates with the project team to plan the scope of each project, develop a budget and timeline, and select the best vendors and crews. During construction, maintain budget documents, and project schedules and oversee invoicing.

Responsibilities
  • Attend potential client walks to outline the scope of the project.
  • Estimate projects.
  • Qualify and select subcontractors for each project.
  • Guide, negotiate, and finalize subcontractor agreements.
  • Create and maintain schedules for assigned projects.
  • Ownership of project budgets as assigned.
  • Ensure that each project stays on time and on budget.
  • Ownership of scope change process.
  • Create and maintain a schedule of values for assigned projects.
  • Run OAC meetings.
  • Order materials as needed.
  • Review, code, and approve subcontractor invoices.
  • Review client invoices.
  • Create, review, and approve submittal packages.
  • Coordinate internal and external punch walks.
  • Handle warranty process for assigned projects.
  • Ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain relationships with Industry Partners.
Meetings
  • Weekly Build staff meetings.
  • Weekly OAC meetings for assigned projects.
  • Weekly internal project meetings.
  • Regularly scheduled client project update meetings.
Education
  • College Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or similar.
  • 7-10 years of construction project management experience with at least five in supervisory roles. Residential construction experience preferred.
  • Field experience as a tradesperson desired.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Experience in Jobtread software preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Benefits + Pay
  • Salary range $78,500-$100,000, based on experience.
  • In conformance with CO law, 1 hr of accrued paid time off per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
  • Additional 3 weeks of accrued, paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, and potential for Holiday R+R from Christmas Day thru January 1st.
