Job Description
Dewberry is currently seeking a Construction Manager for its Denver, CO office. The Construction Manager will manage utility, heavy civil, vertical building, water, and wastewater projects and design construction oversight in the Denver/Northern Colorado area. The CM will perform tasks such as on‑site project/construction management, construction inspection, project coordination, project controls, and contract administration. The role requires a strong understanding of engineering and construction principles, budget management, strict compliance with safety practices, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities- Project Oversight and Management:
Monitor contractor operations to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and obligations. Coordinate and schedule construction inspections, oversee traffic control, SWMP implementation, and permit compliance. - Collaboration and Communication:
Identify and resolve field issues in coordination with project team and supervisors. Work collaboratively with owners, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders. - Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, field directives, and change orders. Use modern technology such as cloud‑based software, GNSS/GIS mapping, and aerial drones. Present weekly and monthly project reports and conduct progress meetings. - Scheduling and Closeout:
Perform project schedule analysis with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent software. Manage punchlists, warranty reviews, and project closeouts. - Relationship Management:
Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, subconsultants, and agency staff, reading and interpreting complex plans and specifications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Construction Management and Project Administration.
- PE and/or CCM preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with clients, the public, and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to present information to management, public groups, and clients.
- Analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and develop conclusions.
- Team environment competence and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Salary RangeThe projected range for this position is $118,000-$ annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
