Responsibilities
  • Overseeing all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
  • Supervising on-site contractors and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to ensure plans and specifications are followed accurately.
  • Implementing safety procedures and maintaining a safe and clean work environment for all staff.
  • Coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates and progress reports.
  • Identifying potential challenges and proactively developing and executing effective solutions.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Managing materials and inventory to ensure availability and timely delivery of resources.
  • Conducting quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project standards and specifications.
  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, and commercial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, safety procedures, and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
