The Career Shop is conducting a confidential search for a well established Colorado commercial general contractor with projects across the Front Range. Strong backlog. Repeat clients. Stable leadership.
This is a long term career track role with clear paths toward Project Manager, Superintendent, or Preconstruction. You will work directly with decision makers, receive hands on mentorship, and gain exposure to multiple project types and clients.
We are seeking a Project Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience supporting ground up commercial construction projects. This role splits time between office and field and typically supports 3 to 6 active projects ject sizes range from approximately $1M to $20M.
Projects span multiple commercial sectors. This is true ground up construction with minimal light TI.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage submittals and RFIs
- Work daily in Procore
- Assist with CMIC and cost tracking
- Attend client and coordination meetings
- Support the Project Manager and Superintendent
- Maintain project documentation and compliance
- Help drive quality, schedule, and safety standards
- 2 to 4 years experience as a Project Engineer
- Ground up commercial experience preferred
- Procore experience strongly preferred
- Hands on submittal and RFI management required
- CMIC exposure preferred
- Construction Management or related degree highly desired
- Professional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work fully on site
- Currently Live in Colorado
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship, reside in Colorado or reliably commute to Denver metro project sites, hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check consistent with applicable Colorado law.
