The Construction Foreman oversees daily job‑site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role coordinates crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment while serving as the primary on‑site leader for project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise construction crews (carpenters, laborers, equipment operators, etc.) to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications and communicate tasks clearly to the team.
  • Plan daily work activities
    , assign tasks, and adjust schedules based on project needs.
  • Monitor job‑site safety
    , enforce OSHA standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
  • Inspect work for quality
    , ensuring compliance with project requirements and building codes.
  • Track labor hours, materials, and equipment usage
    ; submit daily reports.
  • Order or request materials and equipment
    , ensuring timely delivery and minimal downtime.
  • Operate or oversee operation of machinery when required.
  • Identify and solve on‑site problems quickly to keep the project moving.
Qualifications
  • 3–7 years of construction experience, including supervisory or lead‑worker roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Solid understanding of job‑site safety practices and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer or tablet skills for daily logs, timekeeping, and reporting.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with scheduling software (Procore, Buildertrend, Plan Grid, etc.)
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or trade‑specific credentials.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (if relevant to the project type).
  • Outdoor and indoor job sites, often in varying weather conditions.
  • Requires standing, lifting, climbing, and operating tools or equipment.
Requirements
  • Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License
  • Must have a clean criminal record for work with educational facilities.
