STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is recruiting for a Concrete Superintendent to support our Denver, CO team.

• Direct and supervise all concrete construction activities, emphasizing reinforcing steel, complex formwork systems, and high‑quality concrete placement and finishing.
• Supervise all phases of concrete work including reinforcement installation, formwork erection, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and stripping.
• Lead crews working with multi‑faceted engineered form systems such as gang forms, jump forms, plyform, shoring, falsework, custom and modular systems.
• Ensure rebar is installed per plans, schedules, spacing, laps, hooks, couplers, and embeds.
• Coordinate embed installation, anchor bolts, sleeves, blockouts, and post‑installed anchors.
• Prepare and lead rebar and form inspections with owners, engineers, and inspectors.
• Oversee concrete placements such as mass pours, sloped slabs, elevated decks, walls, piers, and flatwork. Ensure proper techniques, consolidation, vibration, finishing, curing, and protection.
• Maintain finishing tolerances, surface finishes, edge details, chamfers, and architectural requirements.
• Verify concrete quantity take‑offs, coordinate ordered quantities with batch plants and pump operators.
• Enforce company and site safety plans, conduct daily safety briefings and job hazard analyses, and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Maintain strict quality control, promptly address non‑conformances.
• Develop daily and weekly work plans, concrete pour sequences, and coordinate mix designs, pumps, delivery rates, and backup plans.
• Lead foremen, crews, and subcontractors, setting clear expectations and accountability.
• Serve as the primary field contact for all concrete‑related activities.

• 7–10+ years of hands‑on concrete construction experience, including supervisory roles.
• Experience with reinforcing steel installation, concrete finishing, and complex form systems; post‑tensioning experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of rebar detailing, formwork tolerances, and concrete placement methods.
• Ability to read and interpret civil structural drawings, bar lists, and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and multiple concrete operations simultaneously.
• Strong safety awareness and leadership mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.
