Overview
Are you a seasoned professional with a knack for organization, planning, and management? We are looking for a permanent Construction Scheduler for our dynamic construction team. The role can be based in Denver or Grand Junction. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and providing monthly reports for all ongoing projects. This position requires a self-starter with the ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership skills.
A proven track record in project scheduling, particularly in the construction industry, is preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.Monitor project progress, compare it with the baseline, and report the progress.Prepare monthly reports tracking schedule progress for projects, including forecast completion dates, potential schedule impacts, and any corrective actions necessary.Interact with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to keep them informed about the schedule and progress.Identify critical and sub-critical activities that impact the project schedule.Provide guidance and support to the project team regarding the project scheduling strategy and problem-solving.Coordinate with all departments involved in the project to ensure all aspects are synchronized and are working towards the common goal.Ensure all project documentation is updated and maintained as per company standards.Conduct risk analysis for project schedules and recommend mitigation strategies.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction industry.Proficient in Primavera P6 and other project management tools.Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and scheduling concepts.Proven leadership skills with the ability to work independently and make decisions when necessary.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed.Company overview
