Job Details- Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts by preparing conceptual through GMP estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, managing bid packages, and developing accurate project budgets for complex commercial construction projects.
- Drive value engineering and cost optimization through constructability reviews, Target Value Design (TVD), comparative cost analyses, and alternative pricing strategies to maximize project value while meeting client objectives.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, operations, and trade partners throughout the preconstruction process to ensure complete scope coverage, competitive pricing, and seamless project execution.
- Manage subcontractor bidding and procurement activities, including coordinating bid invitations, evaluating proposals, identifying scope gaps and overlaps, and ensuring accurate, well-supported pricing based on current market conditions.
- Utilize advanced construction technology and industry expertise including BIM for quantity takeoffs, commercial estimating software, and a strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, contract documents, and project logistics to deliver accurate, competitive estimates.
