The Construction Superintendent is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Denver metro area. This position oversees day‑to‑day construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors, managing site logistics, and ensuring work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Superintendent monitors project schedules, tracks progress, and works closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects and Subcontractors to maintain timelines and stay within budget.
Responsibilities include enforcing safety protocols, conducting site inspections, resolving field issues, and maintaining clear communication with the project team. The role also involves documenting daily activities, reviewing material deliveries, and supporting a productive, compliant, and safe work environment.
- Strong Construction Site Management skills, including supervision of field crews, coordination of subcontractors, and oversight of daily jobsite operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to Construction Safety, with experience implementing safety plans, conducting toolbox talks, and enforcing OSHA and company safety standards.
- Effective Organization Skills, with the ability to manage schedules, track documentation, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with Budgeting and Project Management, including cost control, resource allocation, and collaboration with project managers to meet financial and schedule goals.
- Relevant experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar leadership role on commercial or industrial projects.
- Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, building codes, and inspection requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with basic construction management software and digital tools for reporting and documentation.
- 4‑year bachelor degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field prefered.
