Estimator - Demolition & Concrete Cutting

We're looking for an Estimator who understands the difference between plugging numbers... and truly building production-based estimates that drive real project success. This role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced bid environments, knows demolition and concrete cutting inside and out, and can turn plans and specs into accurate, competitive, and strategic bids.

• Prepare detailed, production-based estimates for demolition, concrete cutting, and related scopes
• Perform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis from drawings and specifications
• Develop full cost build-ups (labor, equipment, materials, and indirects)
• Analyze contracts to define scope, identify risks, and shape bid strategy
• Partner with operations to align means, methods, and execution plans
• Support value engineering, change orders, and extra work pricing
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and estimate reviews
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to clarify scope and pricing

• 3-5+ years of estimating experience in demolition, concrete cutting, or self-perform construction
• Strong expertise in production-based estimating (not just subcontractor buyout)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contract documents
• Experience building accurate cost models based on productivity and real-world execution
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating tools (Vista/ERP a plus)
• Solid understanding of means, methods, sequencing, and equipment selection

• Demolition and structural work
• Concrete cutting (saw cutting, core drilling, wire sawing)
• Heavy civil and infrastructure projects
• Industrial and commercial construction environments

• Occasional site visits and pre-bid walkthroughs
• A fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed both matter
• Collaboration with experienced operations and project teams
