This is an exciting opportunity to work on heavy highway construction projects, where you will be a vital part of project planning, execution, and documentation. Responsibilities:- 1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of heavy highway construction projects from inception to completion.
- 2. Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- 3. Preparing and submitting project documentation including plans, estimates, schedules, and reports.
- 4. Managing change orders and ensuring that all changes are accurately documented and communicated to all relevant parties.
- 5. Leading safety orientation sessions and ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
- 6. Maintaining up-to-date photo documentation of project sites.
- 7. Participating in project meetings and providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- 8. Conducting site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
- 1. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
- 3. Proven experience with submittals, change orders, work planning, and project documentation.
- 4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead safety orientation sessions.
- 5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- 6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- 7. Proficiency in using construction software and technology.
- 8. A strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of promoting safe work practices.
