On Site Supervisor

GRN Pikes Peak is partnering with a growing construction firm seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead field operations on large and small projects for a long-standing federal government client.

You’ll be the company’s primary representative on site. That means keeping the project safe, organized, on schedule, and built to specification—but it also means keeping the customer informed, anticipating concerns, resolving issues professionally, and developing the trust that leads to successful projects and future opportunities.

• Take ownership of day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, equipment, materials, and site activities.
• Keep work moving safely and efficiently while maintaining project schedules and quality expectations.
• Identify field issues early and drive practical solutions before they impact the project.

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the federal government client.
• Build and maintain a professional, responsive relationship with customer representatives.
• Communicate regularly regarding project status, schedule, upcoming activities, challenges, and solutions.
• Understand customer expectations and work proactively to address concerns.
• Represent the company professionally and help strengthen a relationship that extends beyond the current project.

• Establish a strong safety culture on the jobsite.
• Enforce OSHA requirements and project-specific safety procedures.
• Conduct safety briefings and verify compliance with PPE and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain the documentation and attention to detail expected on federally regulated projects.

• Monitor workmanship and verify that construction meets plans, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and coordinate testing, punch-list activities, and commissioning as required.
• Address deficiencies quickly and ensure work is completed correctly before advancing to the next phase.

• Monitor daily progress against the project schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors to minimize conflicts, downtime, and delays.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment utilization, and site logistics.
• Provide accurate daily and weekly progress reports to project leadership.
• Communicate potential schedule, safety, quality, or customer issues before they become larger problems.

• Proven experience (5yrs +) supervising commercial construction projects in the field.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with government, federal, or other highly regulated construction projects strongly preferred.
• Strong subcontractor coordination and field leadership skills.
• Solid understanding of construction safety, quality control, scheduling, and site logistics.
• Proficiency utilizing Procore for project documentation, reporting, communication, and field coordination.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound field decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional presence and the ability to develop strong working relationships with customers, subcontractors, and project leadership.
