The Senior Structural Demolition Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex structural demolition projects from preconstruction through closeout, with accountability for safety, schedule, cost, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction. This role provides leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to Project Managers and project teams while applying extensive knowledge of structural demolition, including structural steel, reinforced and precast concrete, masonry, selective dismantlement, structural removal, and demolition sequencing.

Working collaboratively across Operations, Estimating, HSE, clients, and subcontractors, the Senior Project Manager anticipates risk, solves complex project challenges, and drives accountability and successful project outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful planning and execution of complex structural demolition projects from preconstruction through closeout, maintaining accountability for safety, schedule, cost, quality, profitability, contractual requirements, and client satisfaction.
  • Coach, mentor, support, and develop Project Managers and project team members, providing guidance on complex project issues, establishing accountability, and fostering collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead preconstruction and project planning efforts, reviewing drawings, specifications, existing conditions, structural systems, project constraints, and estimate assumptions to develop effective demolition approaches, sequencing, phasing, logistics, and resource plans.
  • Apply knowledge of structural demolition, including structural steel, reinforced and precast concrete, masonry, selective dismantlement, structural removal, and demolition sequencing, to identify constructability concerns, changing conditions, and project risks.
  • Coordinate with Operations, HSE, qualified engineers, specialty contractors, and other technical resources regarding engineered demolition plans, structural evaluations, temporary works, shoring, bracing, stabilization, rigging and lifting, and other project-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, cost-to-complete projections, cash flow, profitability, and demolition-specific cost drivers such as labor, equipment, trucking, disposal, material processing, recycling or salvage, engineering, and subcontracted work.
  • Identify, document, price, negotiate, and track project changes, evaluating impacts to cost, schedule, sequencing, production, resources, and other project activities while protecting Fiore's contractual and financial interests.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and detailed activity sequencing, working closely with Operations to align manpower, equipment, trucking, subcontractors, engineering, permitting, and other resources with project requirements and contractual milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, production, and cost performance against established plans and proactively identify risks, unfavorable trends, delays, or changing conditions and develop appropriate corrective or recovery strategies.
  • Partner with Operations and HSE to identify and manage demolition-specific project risks, including structural instability, falling materials, exclusion zones, utilities, hot work, work at height, equipment interaction, rigging and lifting, adjacent structures, occupied facilities, and public exposure.
