We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead complex bridge, roadway, and transportation infrastructure projects throughout the Denver market.

What Youll Do
  • Manage approximately 1–4 heavy civil construction projects depending on project size and complexity.
  • Lead and support Project Engineers and potentially other Project Managers.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to keep field operations, manpower, milestones, and schedules on track.
  • Manage project financial performance including:
    • Job cost tracking and control
    • Monthly financial forecasting
    • Billing
    • Change-order management
    • Invoice coding
    • Budget monitoring
  • Identify potential negative project trends such as budget fade, extended equipment rentals, back-charges, schedule impacts, and cost overruns before they become larger issues.
  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
    .
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, manpower, and upcoming project needs.
  • Prepare scopes of work for subcontractor and purchase agreements.
  • Process RFIs and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Distribute current plans, drawings, specifications, and approved shop drawings to project teams.
  • Assist with estimating and prepare pricing for project change orders.
  • Manage timely project startup and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project partners.
  • Work closely with the Safety Manager and Superintendent to maintain a safe project environment and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction required.
  • CDOT project experience required.
  • Bridge construction experience required.
  • Previous DOT transportation infrastructure experience required.
  • Strong understanding of project budgets, job costing, forecasting, billing, and change-order management.
  • Experience developing and maintaining CPM construction schedules
    .
  • Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
    .
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, technical procedures, and governmental requirements.
  • Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and recordkeeping.
  • Strong communication skills with Superintendents, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
  • Experience with Viewpoint is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Current driver's license required.
