Superintendent Job in Denver Metro Area

We are seeking a Superintendent to support multifamily construction projects throughout the Denver Metro area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing multifamily projects and extensive experience developing and maintaining project schedules. This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate field activities, keep projects on track, and drive construction progress from start to finish while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule expectations.

Work Environment:

• Initial project located in Johnstown, CO for approximately the first 6 months
• Future projects primarily located throughout the Denver Metro area

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Scheduling

• Review project budgets and communicate scope, schedules, and expectations to field teams
• Develop and maintain high-level construction schedules
• Monitor daily progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved
• Coordinate material deliveries and staging activities
• Schedule, track, and attend required inspections
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously when required

Field Supervision & Quality Control

• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate trade partners
• Conduct ongoing quality inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Maintain and update project punch lists
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste
• Read and interpret construction drawings and convert plans into actionable field schedules

Communication & Documentation

• Communicate project changes, delays, and field issues to project leadership
• Attend jobsite meetings and maintain positive relationships with clients, inspectors, suppliers, and trade partners
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and communication records
• Utilize construction technology tools for reporting and project management

Safety & Site Management

• Enforce all jobsite safety requirements
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite

Qualifications:

Must Have

• 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• Experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects
• Strong scheduling experience with the ability to develop and manage project schedules from planning through completion

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $60.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
