You will be responsible for conceptualizing, capturing and editing innovative content that lives natively across platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube and emerging channels—with an emphasis on fast, authentic and emotionally-driven storytelling.
You’ll bring a deep understanding of what makes content perform in the digital and social space, blending traditional cinematic techniques with digital/mobile-first creativity.

- Operate cameras, lighting, audio and other gear to capture high-quality video footage in various environments (indoor / outdoor arenas, outdoor fields, locker rooms, training sessions, etc.).
- Use a wide range of cameras, gimbals, drones and mobile devices to capture high-quality footage in varied sports and campus environments.
- Employ creative shooting techniques (slow-motion, transitions, in-camera effects, timelapse, POV, etc.) to develop dynamic and engaging visuals.
- Work with creators to bring UGC content to DSFC platforms.
- Collaborate with coaches, athletes and staff to plan and execute shoots that reflect DSFC’s brand identity and values.
- Edit short and long-form video for digital, social media, web, broadcast and internal use.
- Customize edits for each platform, understanding how formats and pacing differ between Tik Tok, Reels, You Tube Shorts and traditional media.
- Add motion graphics, captions, sound design and animation where needed to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ideate, shoot and edit content designed for specific audiences.
- Stay on top of current trends and platform best practices to ensure content feels timely and relevant.
- Create content that encourages engagement by reflecting the energy and aspirations of DSFC’s athletes and culture.
- Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, helping develop original video series and campaigns that elevate DSFC’s brand narrative.
- Find stories within the DSFC community and propose creative ways to bring them to life.
- Balance brand consistency with experimentation to push the creative envelope and test new formats and ideas.
- Maintain organized file structures, backing up footage and cataloging finished pieces.
- Assist in publishing and scheduling video content across owned channels.
