About the RoleAs our vendor program continues to grow, we're looking for fresh energy and relationship-building leadership for our vendor community at Gum Pop Presents. This role is the heart of how we support hundreds of local small business owners each season.
You’ll collaborate closely with our internal team and serve as the main point of contact for our vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and genuinely excited about helping entrepreneurs shine. This is a relationship-first role, we’re looking for someone who loves connecting with people and building community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage general vendor communication for all events (email, phone, in-person)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor community
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues quickly
- Maintain vendor database and track communications
- Identify and recruit new vendors that fit event goals and themes (food, makers, coffee, face painting, breweries, etc.)
- Research other markets and events for potential vendor leads
- Attend community events and build vendor network
- Vet new vendors for quality and brand alignment
- Collaborate on event capacity planning and booth sales
- Create site maps and vendor assignments in coordination with leadership
- Help prevent overbooking and ensure balanced event layouts
- Manage vendor payment systems and invoices
- Manage and coordinate vendor load-in process
- Troubleshoot on-site issues and support vendors during events
- Train and supervise vendor load-in/load-out staff and volunteers
- Ensure vendors have what they need to succeed
- Collect feedback from vendors on their experience
- Identify opportunities to improve vendor satisfaction
- Foster vendor community and cross-promotion opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (this is a people-first role)
- Experience with events, vendor relations, or small business support
- Organized and proactive, you follow through
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and projects independently
- Customer-service mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Available for weekend events
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with Denver's local maker/market scene
- Experience recruiting or building vendor communities
- Event planning or logistics background
- Proficiency with digital tools (Google Workspace, email software, CRM)
- Design skills or social media experience
