Event Hosts​/Facilitators Meaningful Social ; Part-Time

Closer is hiring Event Facilitators / Experience Hosts / Social Event Leaders to help lead small, thoughtfully structured gatherings in cities across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.

This fractional, part-time role is perfect for people with backgrounds in event hosting, community building, coaching, education, hospitality, theater, group facilitation, or simply being the one who always gathers friends.

As a Closer Facilitator, you’ll:

• Host our signature experiences designed to turn strangers into friends (dinners, drinks, cocktail parties, coffee chats, etc.)
• Guide the flow of the evening, welcome attendees, and create space for honest connection
• Represent the Closer brand and uphold our ethos of warmth, ease, and belonging
• Lightly facilitate group discussions that make it easy for people to open up
• Earn extra by sharing Closer with the right people in your city

Events are 2 hours and take place on weekday evenings.

You’re someone who:

• Can lead a group with presence and calm
• Reads the room and keeps conversations flowing
• Is reliable, organized, and people-first
• Has experience with facilitation, teaching, performing, coaching—or just being a connector

• 💰 $100 per event (plus access to member events at 50% off)
• 🕐 Flexible: commit to at least 1 event/month
• 📋 Quick onboarding: shadow one event, lead one, hop on a debrief
• 🪄 Closer membership required (you’ll get a discount for being on the team)
