Job Description:

Overview:

This position provides creative and operational support to an internal Color Team, with a focus on trend research, seasonal palette development, file management, and execution of color design concepts. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive cohesive and market-relevant color strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trend Research & Concept Development

• Conduct thorough research into color, material, and design trends.
• Partner with the internal color team to conceptualize innovative and brand-aligned color stories.
• Create mood boards, digital swatches, and visual presentations to effectively convey creative direction.

2. Seasonal Color Palette Development

• Assist in curating and refining seasonal color palettes that reflect target consumer preferences and align with brand identity.
• Apply knowledge of color theory, psychology, and market insights to propose relevant and appealing color combinations.
• Revise palettes in response to stakeholder feedback and evolving market trends.

3. File & Asset Organization

• Organize and streamline vectorized line art and design files to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Maintain consistent file naming conventions and organizational systems to improve accessibility.
• Prepare detailed color specification sheets including accurate color codes, Pantone references, and material callouts.
• Ensure precision and consistency across all documentation.
• Manage a version-controlled database for color specs and revisions to support production workflows.
• Provide hands-on assistance in the development of product color applications.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve color-related challenges.
• Offer creative and technical input to achieve visually compelling and production-ready results.
