The Associate Designer, Graphics (Women and Youth) will be part of The North Face's Logowear and Graphics design team, with a primary focus on Women's and Youth product categories.
Working alongside a team of designers, the Associate Designer will help organize and produce production-ready art files while balancing workloads to ensure exceptional creative execution and on-time delivery across multiple product calendars.
Responsibilities- Support the organization and production of graphics across the Logowear and Graphics categories, helping carry artwork efficiently through the production phase.
- Assist in creating tech packs, mock-ups, mood boards, sketches, and graphics that bring seasonal concepts to life.
- Develop presentation skills with the goal of effectively communicating and narrating work to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Contribute to cohesive graphic storytelling that connects with customers and reflects The North Face brand values.
- Invest in professional growth through continued learning, skill development, trend research, and regular creative briefings from Design leadership.
- 1–3+ years of related professional experience in a design role.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, preferably apparel design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with flat sketching and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
- Experience creating tech packs and production-ready files.
- Experience researching and analyzing design and fashion trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate initiative.
- Working knowledge of color palettes.
- Clear communication skills and a desire to develop strong presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the graphic production process.
- Understanding of designing for market, trend, and end use.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to design for different consumers.
- Ability to accept and apply constructive art direction while bringing a unique creative voice to the work.
This role operates on a hybrid schedule from The North Face's Denver, Colorado headquarters, three days per week.
Compensation and BenefitsThe hiring range is $60,480–$75,600 annually. The position is eligible for additional compensation awards, which may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
