As a Skiptown Support Skipper
, you’ll set the tone for every guest experience. From greeting clients and answering questions to managing bookings and supporting smooth check-ins and check-outs, you’ll make sure everything runs seamlessly at the front desk. If you love helping people, staying organized, and creating great first impressions, this role is for you.
- Welcome guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service
- Answer questions about services, memberships, pricing, and events
- Assist with daycare, boarding, and grooming check-ins and check-outs
- Manage bookings and reservations using Skiptown’s software
- Process payments for services, memberships, and retail sales
- Promote Skiptown memberships, services, and special offers
- Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Communicate updates and important information between guests and team members
- Document and elevate guest concerns or incidents as needed
- You’re friendly, approachable, and love helping people (and pups!)
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day is different
- You’re organized and can manage multiple tasks at once
- You’re calm under pressure and great at problem-solving
- You enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
- Customer service, hospitality, or front desk/concierge experience
- Experience in a pet care environment or knowledge of pet services
- Familiarity with scheduling or booking software
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to safely lift and handle up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in an environment with dogs, pet hair, and occasional messes
