Customer Operation Order Management Clerk
Gates Corporation is looking for a Customer Operations Order Management Clerk. This part-time position supports our Customer Operations Teams across North America. Essential duties include reviewing, entering, and managing customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role ensures that all orders are processed in a timely manner, coordinates with internal teams for fulfillment, and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate and organized order management.
Responsibilities include monitoring and processing daily incoming orders for assigned Oracle based customers, verifying order details, pricing, product availability, and customer information, adjusting shipping dates to align with customer requirements and current transit times, coordinating with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely fulfillment, resolving common errors to progress orders through the order management system, monitoring order status and proactively resolving discrepancies or delays, communicating order updates, shipping information, and issues to customers, maintaining accurate records of orders, invoices, and customer interactions, assisting with processing returns, exchanges, and cancellations as needed, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Requirements include 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a fast-paced customer service environment, a bachelor's degree preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiarity with database systems, strong written and verbal communication skills, confident decisiveness and a willingness to take action when addressing customer issues, high attention to detail with a proactive approach to time management, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
Pay & Benefits:
Part-Time Pay Range: $22-$26/Hourly. Working 20 to 25 hours per week.
