Job Summary

Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
  • Ensure member service oversight and great customer service experience at all times.
  • Participate in front desk tasks: greeting members, gym tours, addressing member service issues, etc.
  • Provide support for team members and club members.
  • Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
  • Coach and counsel performance to meet company standards.
  • Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym and that staff are aware of current marketing promotions.
  • Complete manager portion of onboarding in Paycom for new hires.
  • Ensure club is open and staffed during all hours of business.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Order supplies and track inventory.
Essential Behavior Requirements
  • Customer Service: communicate and interact with customers, coworkers, and the public to exceed their wants and needs.

  • Problem Solving: recognize and define problems, analyze information, encourage alternative solutions, and plan to resolve situations.
  • Diplomacy: demonstrate tact and skill in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.
  • Communication: maintain timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors, and various departments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Honesty and strong work ethic.
  • At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands
  • Stand and walk at least 75% of the shift.
  • Talk in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.li>
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
