Customer Service Representative – Midway Industrial Supply, Mounds View, MN
This role focuses on delivering premium customer service, order processing, and technical support for industrial products in the Midway Industrial Supply distribution environment.

Responsibilities- Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring superior service levels are met and exceeded.
- Process and communicate all inquiries, quotations, and orders in a timely manner.
- Apply knowledge of account requirements and special situations to achieve results for customers.
- Acquire specialized technical knowledge about products and applications.
- Maintain familiarity with vendor portals and utilize them for order and information management.
- Maintain accurate record‑keeping in ERP and CRM systems.
- Provide information to sales and management teams.
- Collaborate with associates and departments as a team player.
- Offer troubleshooting assistance, handle shipment issues, and resolve product‑related problems.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved to satisfaction.
- Use approved supplier list for goods and services.
- Collaborate internally and externally on quotes for products/services with customers and outside sellers.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by lead or manager.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two‑year college/technical school, or high school diploma with at least two years of related experience.
- Preferred experience in industrial distribution.
- Excellent customer‑relations and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail oriented with accurate data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and friendly, productive work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to understand written and oral English and to use computer, email, spreadsheets and online resources.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Capability to work in environments with moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, solvents, and electrical equipment.
