Position Details: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Hybrid work setting
Salary Range: $44,800 – $45,748 per annum
As a member of Lynx Central, the university’s first-stop for enrollment services, you will support students in navigating the administrative aspects of their enrollment journey, including admissions, financial aid, registration, and bursar functions. Your goal is to provide clear, personalized assistance through phone, email, face‑to‑face interactions, and text messaging, ensuring a seamless student experience.
What You Will Do- Support students through all administrative aspects of the enrollment process, including admissions, financial aid, registration, and bursar functions.
- Provide clear, detailed information about enrollment requirements and assist students in‑person, by phone, email, and text to ensure they complete all steps.
- Proactively identify potential issues and remove obstacles throughout the enrollment process.
- Collaborate with departments across campus—Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Bursar, academic advisors, faculty, and support staff—to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Interpret and respond to student inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
- Serve as a liaison between students and other university departments.
- Explain, administer, and adhere to university policies and procedures.
- Deliver comprehensive, exceptional customer service in all interactions.
- Conduct student outreach efforts, including phone calls and follow‑up communication.
- Perform data entry, produce reports, and maintain student records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, adaptability, and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in enrollment services (admissions, financial aid, registrar, bursar, academic advising).
- Experience with People Soft.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Tech savvy—proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and a quick learner of new technologies.
- Commitment to serving students at a public, urban, research university.
- Ability to manage escalations and triage as needed.
- Occasional work during evenings and/or weekends may be required.
- This position follows a hybrid work structure, with specific schedules determined by leadership and office needs.
- Position may be performed in a hybrid or remote environment, requiring a dedicated workspace with reliable internet and the ability to attend virtual meetings for extended periods.
- Employees must be able to work independently, remain stationary for prolonged computer‑based work, and transport necessary equipment between a remote location and the office as needed.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this role is $44,800 – $45,748. Final salary will be based on internal equity, experience, education, and other factors.
