Fitness Receptionist

The Staenberg-Loup JCC is seeking a Fitness Receptionist to greet members and guests, foster community, and keep the fitness center running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet every guest with a smile and provide excellent customer service
• Ensure the facility is accessed only by active members and approved guests
• Handle cash efficiently and accurately, and enroll members and guests in programs
• Check equipment, locker rooms, and inventory throughout the shift and ensure proper coverage of the reception area
• Inform the facility manager on duty of any member, guest, or facility issues and maintain the staff communication book

Qualifications:

• Availability for early mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and work ethic
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and a strong team player
• Proficient with computers or a quick learner; high school diploma and customer service experience preferred
• Ability to walk more than 2 miles daily and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Salary: $19.29 per hour.
