Customer Service Team Member About the Role Half Moon Empanadas is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Team Member in Denver, CO to support customers and help ensure a positive experience at every interaction. You will be part of a customer-focused team that values respectful communication, reliability, and attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with questions in a friendly, professional manner.

Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, and ordering options.

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while following established procedures.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns using active listening and clear communication.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and support a positive customer-facing environment.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and timely support during busy periods.

Follow safety and quality guidelines to help ensure consistent service standards.

Document and escalate customer issues as needed to the appropriate team member or supervisor.

Support inventory and stocking needs when required to maintain product availability.

Adhere to schedules and attendance expectations to support reliable coverage for the team.

Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Experience:

Prior customer service experience is preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

Skills:

Strong communication skills with a respectful, customer-first approach.

Skills:

Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented when handling questions or concerns.

Tools/Software:
Comfortable using basic point-of-sale (POS) systems and standard office/customer service tools.

Knowledge:
Familiarity with common customer service practices and service standards.

Availability:
Ability to work part-time hours in Denver, CO, including weekends and/or evenings as needed.

Tip Structure:
This position utilizes a tip credit structure under Denver municipal law. In addition to your base rate of $16.50/hour, you will earn tips through our tip pool system.

Guaranteed Minimum:
We guarantee that your combined base wage and earned tips will always meet or exceed the full Denver minimum wage of $19.29 per hour for all hours worked. If combined earnings fall short during any pay period, the company will pay the difference.
