Part Time Orthodontic Assistant

We are seeking a Part‑Time Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental practice. The Orthodontic Assistant will work under the supervision of orthodontists to provide support during patient visits, procedures, and treatments.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• X‑ray certification
• Experience working in a dental office, preferably in orthodontics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x‑rays
• Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices
• Maintain patient records and documentation
• Ensure a clean and sterile environment
• Schedule patient appointments and follow up on treatment plans

This is a part‑time position, with flexible hours based on the needs of the dental practice. Hours may include evenings and weekends.
