Hygienist Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled dental hygienist to replace an extraordinary professional who is moving on to share and teach future Hygienists. Join our busy and motivated private, single‑doctor general dental practice, where quality care, professionalism, and meaningful patient relationships are at the center of everything we do.

This is a full‑time position in a well‑established and growing practice. We believe in creating flexible schedules that support work‑life balance for our professional team members. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1‑hour lunch break built into the day. Each appointment is scheduled for 1 hour, with no accelerated hygiene appointments, allowing you the time needed to deliver thorough, attentive care without feeling rushed.

You will see one patient at a time, and SRP appointments are typically scheduled for 1 or 2 hours per patient as appropriate.

The ideal candidate enjoys being a hygienist and takes pride in listening to patients, building trust, and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their dental health. We value team members who are motivated to educate patients, support long‑term oral health, and provide excellent care with a calm and personable approach.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive hygiene care, patient education, charting, periodontal assessments, and collaboration with the doctor and team to support treatment planning and overall patient experience. Familiarity with Carestream and Open Dental is preferred.

We maintain a highly respectful and fun workplace culture, and we prioritize the safety of our staff by providing face shields, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Parking is available in front of the practice for convenience.

We welcome candidates with little or many years of experience, just so long as they bring professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a genuine enthusiasm for the role. Compensation is $55–$65 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits include PTO, 401K with automatic employer contribution, annual bonus, CE support, and more paid perks.
