Support others in the development of technical drawings. The Glazing Drafter is responsible for all aspects of the design process.
Role and Responsibilities- Create layout and tag drawings for installation.
- Create fabrication drawings and models.
- Read and interpret project Architectural and Structural drawings.
- Read and interpret project specifications.
- Provide support to factory and field personnel as needed.
- Follow best practice drafting and modeling standards.
- Use education and company provided training to further develop required skills.
- Additional items as needed by design department.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD required
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling software (Inventor/Solid Works) required
