Position Description
The Interior Designer I provides assistance throughout the building design process, including but not limited to programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, renderings, presentation materials, and contract administration activities under routine guidance.
Provides basic knowledge of interior products, manufacturers, and material sources.
Collaborates with the team in design activities and researches products, materials, furniture, and equipment (FF&E).
Works under the direction of a Lead/Senior Designer, or Project Manager, and PIC.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or equivalent with two to four (2-4) years related experience.
- Proficient in Revit Modeling.
- Proficient in graphic programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Sketch‑up, InDesign, and Photoshop, and has proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledgeable in 3D rendering programs such as Revit, Enscape, Lumion, etc.
- The Interior Designer 1 has acquired the knowledge, experience and skills of the Interior Design Staff.
