Job SummaryWe are seeking an accomplished Interior Designer to create innovative, high‑quality design solutions while collaborating closely with the Project Lead and supporting the success of the broader design team. The role is responsible for ensuring drawings and design deliverables are completed on schedule and in accordance with established specifications and drafting standards. The Designer may also contribute to project schedules, bids, and proposals, and will bring creativity, initiative, and the ability to plan and execute complex design projects.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure an optimal client experience.
- Assist the Project Lead in developing conceptual and design‑development presentations for builders and developers.
- Execute all design concepts, design development, construction documentation, and FF&E, working directly with the Project Lead.
- Ensure all selections and products meet all required local, state, and national code standards.
- Assist in the execution of all design concepts, design development, and construction documentation, working directly with the Design Team.
- Assist in project installations assigned to the team.
- Understand job cost reports and assist the Project Lead with reaching targeted profit margins.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 4+ years of interior design experience, including model‑home design.
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences.
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, design principles, and material selection.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working in groups and participating in cross‑functional teams toward a common goal.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
