Facility Designer I – HDR O&M Facilities Design staff, responsible for developing project deliverables in facilities design.
Responsibilities- Facility programming, report writing, site master planning, developing specifications and construction documents
- Selection, coordination, and layout of design aspects (industrial shop equipment, site flow, etc.)
- Creating/using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to complete different levels of documents
- Submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review
- Conduct construction field observations
- Other design/engineering tasks as assigned
- Experience in industrial design, facility planning, equipment layout, or workflow analysis
- Entry level candidates with a 4‑year degree and strong BIM skills considered
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design or related field
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Sketch Up
- Command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
- Working knowledge of LOD 300 requirements
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective client interaction and presentation skills
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
