Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Architect to join our Denver, CO Architecture practice.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. Managers and Junior Design Staff. Technical proficiency and an ability to develop and maintain design intent throughout all project phases is necessary. As part of the team, you will work on a variety of project types and be instrumental in the growth and development of the office.
ResponsibilitiesHow will you do this?
- Work closely with Clients, side by side with the Project Manager, to address individual project needs.
- Work closely with internal Teams to conceptualize, design and produce project documentation.
- Work on all phases of design from concept through construction.
- Set, monitor and maintain project budgets, work plans, and schedules through all phases of the design process.
We are looking for:
- 7 + years of experience, with a diverse portfolio of public sector work.
- Licensed Architect (or in process) in Colorado required.
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Google Sketch Up.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Collaborative approach to all aspects of the practice.
- Expert knowledge of local code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction, including Office of the State Fire Marshal, and others.
- Confident and effective interpersonal and time management skills.
- Responsible for maintaining scope / fees and working to project budget, review client/consultant invoices, agreements and contracts.
- Responsible for managing project team resources; advises Office Director of resource and schedule needs.
- Reviews and assures document accuracy for client(s), consultant(s) and project team(s).
- Responsible for QA/QC process.
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
