VDC Technician - Denver

Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) team and learn how to create and coordinate electrical system models.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in creating and updating 3D models of electrical systems (such as conduit and cable tray)
  • Learn to navigate BIM models and support coordination efforts
  • Help apply basic dimensions and notes to drawings using company standards
  • Follow established templates and file organization practices
  • Attend coordination meetings and support the team in resolving design issues
  • Work under the guidance of a supervisor or experienced team member
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and grow in this field.

  • Basic familiarity with design or construction software such as Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or similar tools (training will be provided)
  • Interest in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or construction technology
  • General understanding of electrical systems or willingness to learn
  • Ability to read basic diagrams or drawings with guidance
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • 0‑3 years’ experience in a comparable role
