Integrated Const Tech Spec

PCL Construction Services, Inc., an employee‑owned company based in Denver, is seeking a BIM Specialist to support construction projects across our portfolio.

As a BIM Specialist, you will:

• Ensure multidisciplinary construction technologies and standards are current and adhered to.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop construction‑site logistics models.
• Coordinate and manage trade detailing and design deliverables.
• Liaise between design and construction teams.
• During the pursuit stage, review and recommend scopes where VDC tools and processes can be incorporated.
• Participate in scoping design deliverables and trade detailing requirements.
• Collaborate with design and trade partners to support the development of project documentation.
• Work with the Manager of Integrated Construction Technology to review VDC/technology contract language and BIM execution plan.
• Establish and set up the trade partner model coordination process, including shop and fabrication model review and hand‑over to project teams.
• Maintain multidiscipline construction models, ensuring adherence to project modeling standards.
• Create and coordinate the processing of RFIs with the project team.
• Recognize opportunities and leverage integrated construction technology on projects.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), or civil discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of construction‑related experience, including 2 to 3 years of Virtual Design and Construction experience.
• Strong understanding of construction sequences.
• Awareness of and experience implementing construction technology.
• Ability to provide project model management.
• Knowledge of the building construction process and the components involved at each stage.
• Ability to ensure the quality of virtual design and construction models from design and trade partners.
• Understanding of trade detailing and design workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications, and translate 2D drawings into a complete 3D/4D BIM.
• Intermediate knowledge of 3D modeling software and training, and ability to create content in VDC software.
• Ability to input into the BIM execution plan.
• Ability to read and understand the construction model and scope to create and apply a VDC schedule.
• Ability to create and communicate markups to construction drawings.

Salary range: $82,000 – $106,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The role is Full‑time and regular, located in Denver, Colorado.
