Facility Designer I
Develop a major portion of our project deliverables by performing the following tasks:
Primary Responsibilities- Facility programming, report writing, site master planning, and development of specifications and construction documents
- Selection, coordination, and layout of various design aspects (industrial shop equipment, site flow, etc.)
- Use Building Information Modeling (BIM) to complete different levels of documents
- Submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review
- Conduct construction field observations
- Other design and engineering tasks as assigned
- Experience in industrial design, facility planning, equipment layout, or workflow analysis; entry‑level candidates with a 4‑year degree and strong BIM skills will be considered
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to interact with and present to clients effectively
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design, or a related field
- Command of Revit and AutoCAD, and knowledge of Sketch Up
- Command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
- Working knowledge of LOD 300 requirements
Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. Colorado: $61,523.00 – $87,890.00. Includes medical, dental, vision, short and long‑term disability, life insurance, employee assistance program, paid time away, parental leave, paid holidays, a retirement savings plan with employer match, employee referral bonus, and tuition reimbursement. (Stated benefits are for full‑time regular positions. Temporary and part‑time roles are eligible for limited benefits.)
