Overview
We are seeking a Senior Architect to join our team in Denver, CO. Under limited supervision, the ideal candidate applies technical proficiency to solve architectural problems and coordinates related project activities. This position also supports Business Development and presentation efforts in securing and advancing new projects.

- Routinely interface with clients and keep them properly informed.
- Perform programming, planning and other conceptual design activities.
- Develop designs and sketches to be input into Revit-based construction documents and direct a project team to do the same.
- Mentor junior staff and lead a project team to produce a complete set of construction documents.
- Redline documents for production in Blue Beam or another digital format.
- Coordinate with sub-consultants and other disciplines and mentor junior staff to do the same.
- Review and contribute needed information to a specification writer.
- Create organized exhibits in Blue Beam and PowerPoint for client and team review.
- Direct and perform site and field work including construction observation and investigation, existing facility inventory & evaluation, and generate field-measured documentation.
- Complete assignments efficiently, accurately and timely and self-perform quality control on work prior to publication.
- Maintain and coordinate project BIM model and have strong knowledge in construction document standards and conventions.
- Interact with regulatory agencies and achieve a consensus.
- Consult with product manufacturers to evaluate and obtain accurate cost information, select materials, and refine construction detailing.
- Work on several projects or issues simultaneously.
- Work independently or in a team environment as needed.
- Analyze information and propose effective solutions on one's own initiative.
- Create basic and informative 3D models in BIM or another digital format.
- Communicate regularly with the team and stay within the hours budgeted for tasks assigned.
- Provide Project Managers with regular status reports and progress of construction documentation.
- Perform other duties as the Studio Director determines necessary to support the Architecture Practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required;
Master’s degree is desirable. - Registered Architect (RA) licensed with ability to obtain additional licenses when required.
- 7‑10 years of relevant professional experience including all phases of architectural drafting, detailing, and assistance with the coordination of consultants and internal teams.
- Advanced knowledge of building systems and experience on a wide variety of project types (federal, defense, aviation, rail, transit, commercial, education) is a plus.
- Experience directing the work of junior staff to develop project documentation and manage project deliverables.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills at this level, proven through technical presentations, technical papers, and/or participation in technical committees.
- Expertise in Revit and a working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- LEED accreditation and experience coordinating certification processes is a plus.

Additional informationExpected compensation range is between $90,000 and $140,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
