Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for leading interior design projects from concept through construction, including space planning, design development, and coordination with the architecture team. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing interior drawings and documentation, selecting and coordinating FF&E, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients, attending meetings and site visits to address design challenges and support project delivery. The role also involves mentoring junior designers, contributing to design standards, and supporting business development through presentations and participation in design pitches as needed.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to integrate interior concepts with overall building design.
  • Strong Space Planning skills, including programming, layout development, and optimization of interior environments for usability and aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in Construction Drawings for interiors, including detailed documentation, coordination with consultants, and support during construction administration.
  • Experience with FF&E selection and coordination, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with project goals and budgets.
  • Advanced proficiency in design and documentation software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite); strong visualization and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field; professional licensure or certification (NCIDQ or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary interior projects, ideally in commercial, civic, cultural, or mixed-use sectors.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills, with the ability to work effectively in an integrated team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project schedules and budgets.
