The Role
This is a full-spectrum position: design, documentation, and project coordination — often all in the same week. You will lead drawing sets in Revit, manage correspondence with clients and contractors, coordinate consultants, and contribute to construction administration. The right candidate is technically sharp, organized, and comfortable representing the firm directly.
The position is primarily remote, with regular in-person meetings with the principal in the Denver area.
What You Will Do- Produce design development and construction document sets in Revit, coordinating across architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape disciplines
- Manage project correspondence with clients, general contractors, consultants, and permitting agencies
- Support construction administration: RFIs, submittals, field reports, and site visits
- Coordinate and review work from junior designers and production contractors
- Conduct code research, zoning analysis, and permit submissions
- Participate in design reviews and client presentations alongside the principal
- 4–7 years of experience at an architecture firm, with custom residential exposure
- Expert-level Revit proficiency — our primary production tool, non-negotiable
- Experience coordinating consultants and managing project communication independently
- Strong written communication; you will draft client and contractor correspondence under the firm's name
- Associate AIA membership or active pursuit of ARE exams
- Deep familiarity with high-end residential construction detailing
- Experience running concurrent projects in multiple phases
- Adobe Creative Suite for client presentations
- Enscape, Lumion, or similar rendering tools
- $90,000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage — eligible after 90 days
- 15 days paid time off + 5 sick days + 8 paid holidays
- ARE exam fees covered; exam scheduling accommodated
- Paid continuing education and AIA Colorado membership
- Hybrid schedule — primarily remote, with in-person meetings in Denver
At most firms, you are either doing production work or project management — not both. Here, you do both. That means faster growth, a broader skill set, and work that you can point to. Our projects span three states and represent some of the most interesting residential work being done in the country.
If you are pursuing your license and want a role that accelerates that path in a firm that will invest in you, we want to hear from you.
