Position Overview
Advent Health Rocky Mountain Region is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Urologist to join our AHMG Urology team in Littleton, CO. This full-time role focuses on providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient care, including surgical and non-surgical treatments. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive urologic care, ensuring exceptional outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
Review and document patient medical histories accurately.
Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging.
Utilize specialized equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
Perform urologic surgeries and procedures as clinically indicated.
Manage lower urinary tract disorders and related conditions.
Prescribe medications for infections, injuries, and urologic conditions
Provide expert consultations and coordinate referrals to other specialists when necessary.
Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers (APPs) and nurse practitioners.
Participate in call coverage as determined by program needs.
Maintain compliance with all clinical and organizational standards.
DaVinci robotic surgery available, but not required
Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and team success.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with completion of accredited urology residency (and fellowship if applicable).
Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
Active State Medical License and DEA registration.
Current BLS Certification
Proficiency with modern medical technologies and surgical techniques.
Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations.
Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership skills with a collaborative team approach.
Competence in navigating multiple EMR systems.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
