About the PositionLocum Jobs Online is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Occupational Medicine MD in Colorado!
We are seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for a 60-day assignment in Colorado, starting Mar 2, 2026. This full-time role involves taking over an established patient panel, working 8 AM to 5 PM, and focusing on the evaluation and management of various occupational injuries and conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, head injuries, lacerations, skin conditions, and performing DOT physicals.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Take over an existing patient panel
- Evaluate and manage common occupational musculoskeletal injuries of the neck, back, and upper and lower extremities
- Evaluate and manage work-related injuries to the head with or without loss of consciousness, assuming the individual is currently conscious and alert
- Evaluate and manage work-related injuries to the chest or abdomen, with the possibility of hernias
- Evaluate and manage work-related lacerations of the face and extremities which do not impair function or sensation
- Evaluate and manage work-related foreign bodies to the eye, and other non-penetrating eye injuries or conditions of the eye that do not affect vision
- Evaluate and manage work-related rashes and other occupational skin conditions
- Evaluate and manage occupational asthma and other work-related respiratory symptoms
- Perform DOT physicals
