Position SummaryThe candidate will primarily interpret cardiothoracic and body imaging studies, including coronary CTA and cardiac MRI. The emphasis is on providing advanced, cutting edge, and highly collaborative care in the acute setting. The radiologist will participate in education of University of Colorado medical students, radiology and IR/DR residents, and fellows.
Reporting StructureThe radiologist reports to the Department Chair of Radiology with direct mentorship and supervision from the Chief of Body Imaging.
Candidate Qualifications- MD, DO or foreign equivalent, board certification in Radiology, fellowship training preferred in cardiothoracic radiology and/or body imaging, eligibility for licensure in Colorado.
- New graduates and experienced radiologists are encouraged to apply.
- Competent in all imaging modalities and interpret general ED studies on on-call environment.
- Prior record of academic or educational scholarship preferred.
- Experience teaching students and/or trainees preferred.
