Radiologist Physician - Breast Imaging
Denver, CO | $450,000 to $600,000 annually (base), with total compensation potential above $700,000 through productivity incentives
A specialized outpatient imaging center in Denver, Colorado is seeking a fellowship-trained radiologist with expertise in breast and women's imaging. The practice operates a high-volume breast imaging program supported by advanced technology and an established referral network that includes breast surgeons, OB/GYNs, and oncologists across the Denver metro area.
This is a full-time position based onsite in Denver, with hybrid remote reading available for certain reading duties. Part-time arrangements may be considered for qualified candidates. There are no on-call requirements, no weekend shifts, and no holiday coverage obligations.
$450,000 to $600,000 base salary annually, with total compensation potential exceeding $700,000 through productivity-based incentives.
The radiologist in this role interprets a full range of breast imaging studies, including 3D tomosynthesis mammography, diagnostic mammograms, breast MRI, and breast ultrasound. You will perform image-guided procedures including stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided breast biopsies, as well as needle localization. Collaboration with the referring physician network is an ongoing part of the role, and you will communicate directly with patients regarding imaging findings and procedural guidance.
You will contribute to quality assurance programs and support compliance with breast imaging accreditation standards, including those governing mammography facilities.
Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (A )
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging, Women's Imaging, or Body Imaging with a breast imaging focus
- Eligibility for MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) interpreting physician qualification
- Hands-on experience with breast MRI, tomosynthesis, and image-guided biopsy procedures
- Active medical license in Colorado or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
- DEA registration or eligibility, as applicable to clinical duties at this facility
MQSA-qualified interpreting physician with active status
- Experience in a high-volume outpatient breast imaging environment
- Familiarity with ACR accreditation standards for breast imaging programs
- Published or presented research in breast imaging or women's health radiology
- Experience supervising or mentoring radiology residents or fellows
Base salary of $450,000 to $600,000 annually
- Productivity and incentive bonuses with total compensation potential above $700,000
