The Department of Finance at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions.

MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, with nearly 60% being first-generation and over 55% students of color. Located in downtown Denver, we are a designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), an INSIGHT into Diversity Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award winner for 10 consecutive years
, and the only Seal of Excelencia certified institution in Colorado. We serve the most diverse undergraduate population in the state, including many first-generation and DACA students.

• Teach three to nine credit hours in areas including Managerial Finance, Principles of Investments, Personal Financial Planning, and Real Estate courses.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Collaborate with diverse groups including faculty and department chair.
• Experience with online/hybrid teaching and LMS platforms like Canvas is a plus.

Teaching classes in person or online, preparing course materials, grading, providing feedback, addressing student questions, maintaining office hours, and complying with university policies on instruction and evaluation.

• Required:
  
  Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Preferred:
  PhD in Finance or ABD with dissertation completed and defense pending.

Part-time, at-will, teaching on a per-credit-hour basis, usually semester-by-semester. No benefits. Must be able to teach in person upon hire.
