Position SummaryThe Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. The primary responsibility is to teach courses such as Introduction to Criminalistics, Crime Scene Investigation I & II, Arson & Explosives, Field Testing, and Identification of Drugs.

Responsibilities- Teach criminalistics and forensic science courses (lecture and laboratory) at undergraduate levels.
- Work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse urban population.
- Other duties include: delivering course content in person or online, preparing materials, grading, providing feedback, addressing student questions, maintaining office hours, and complying with university policies on instruction evaluation and peer observation.
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Doctorate.
- Previous teaching experience.
Part-time, at-will employment on a per credit hour basis, usually semester-by-semester. Not eligible for university benefits. Teaching is expected to be on campus upon hire.
